FES-ILDIS realizó el lanzamiento de su revista “Pensando Futuros, Conectando Voces: 40 años de FES-ILDIS en el Ecuador”, un repaso por la trayectoria de la Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, a través de testimonios y análisis de los actores que han trabajado junto a la institución desde su llegada a Ecuador.
El evento se llevó a cabo el miércoles 8 de mayo de 2014, en el Centro Cultural Benjamín Carrión. Ahí se abrió un conversatorio entre algunos de los participantes de la revista, para hablar de la historia de FES-ILDIS y del desarrollo del Ecuador desde sus temas de interés.
En una mesa redonda, con formato talk show, participaron Linda Machuca, Asambleísta Nacional, Norman Wray, candidato a la presidencia de la República (2013), la socióloga y comunicadora Julia Ortega, además de Fernando Carrión, profesor-investigador de FLACSO, quien moderó el diálogo.
La revista muestra la historia de FES-ILDIS en Ecuador, a través de los cuatro ejes fundamentales de su trabajo: Democracia social, Justicia social, Economía justa y Gobernanza regional y paz. Cada lineamiento toma un capítulo de la revista para analizar desde su alcance, los aportes de FES-ILDIS a la construcción democrática.
Durante estos 40 años, actores políticos y sociales de diferentes tendencias ideológicas y sociales, han visto a FES-ILDIS como una plataforma desde la cual se han planteado un objetivo común: fortalecer la democracia y la justicia social en el país.
En ese sentido, esta publicación conecta vivencias, testimonios, esfuerzos y expectativas, que en este tiempo han identificado a todos los que trabajan y han trabajado alguna vez junto a la institución.
